Editorial Standards

A number earns its sentence here. If we cannot calculate it from a named source, we do not present it as fact.

Claims are computed

Words such as “largest” or “lowest” require the compared set, calculation, and dated source. A plausible claim without that record stays out.

Missing does not mean zero

A blank filing field is reported as “not filed yet” or “insufficient data.” We do not turn absence into zero, and a pending record does not become a delisted fund.

The event sets the date

An as-of date comes from the filing or source event behind the figure. The page may be retrieved later; that retrieval date does not rewrite the underlying event date.

Registries keep their history

New fund marks, constituents, and methodology versions append to the record. We do not overwrite an earlier observation to make the history look cleaner.

Corrections stay visible

Send a suspected error to support@advisorworld.com. We check it against the cited source. A confirmed correction records what changed, when it changed, and which dated observation remains affected.

One skeptical review before release

A separate review challenges the facts, calculations, limitations, and prose. It asks whether a sentence is specific to this research or could have been pasted onto another finance site. Publication waits until the findings are resolved.
